I’m all about Taiwanese breakfast and it’s truly hard to narrow among the following: Fan Tuan (a hand-held burrito-like dish that has sticky rice on the outside and filling such as crispy cruller and pork floss inside), crispy cruller dipped in hot soy milk, or Taiwanese Congee cooked with sweet potato and paired with an assortment of side dishes like preserved radish omelette, thousand year egg tofu salad, and pickled mustard greens. Wash all of this down with bubble tea!

I was born and raised in the Philippines until I was 9 years old and LOVED (still do) traditional Filipino food. One of my favorites growing up is a dish we call Tinunuan (Ginataan in Tagalog) which is mixed veggies like cooked in coconut milk. So good over white rice, of course.
