Mile High Asian Food Week is a week-long celebration of Colorado’s growing AANHPI culinary scene. Taking place on April 28-May 4, 2024, foodies can experience different AANHPI cuisines from AANHPI-owned participating businesses and receive insider perks such as special discounts, secret menu items, specialty menus, and more.

 

What is the goal of Mile High Asian Food Week?

The mission of Mile High Asian Food Week is to elevate and support AANHPI-owned food and beverage businesses and to inspire the greater community to try different AANHPI cuisines. 

 

Where is Mile High Asian Food Week located?

There is not a singular location but rather you can visit any vendor that is participating in Mile High Asian Food Week.

 

Is Mile High Asian Food Week a night market?

No, this is a week-long event that celebrates Colorado’s growing AANHPI culinary scene. While there may be Mile High AFW pop-up events that happen throughout the week, the food week itself includes all participating businesses during April 28-May 4, 2024.

How do I apply to be a vendor for Mile High Asian Food Week?

Head over to our application page to apply. Applications opened on Nov. 16, 2023. Applications close on Jan. 14, 2024.

 

What is the criteria to participate in Mile High Asian Food Week?

Participating vendors must be AANHPI-owned and also serve AANHPI foods and beverages. All other vendors can participate if they collaborate with an AANHPI-owned business (i.e. pop-up). If you have any questions, please email milehighafw@gmail.com.

 

Who puts on Mile High Asian Food Week?

Mile High Asian Food Week is the brainchild of Joanne Liu, co-founder of the nonprofit Asian Girls Ignite. This grassroots operation is entirely run by AANHPI women who are volunteering their time.

 

How do I volunteer? 

Event organizers are actively seeking bilingual street team members and other volunteers to support Mile High Asian Food Week; interested parties may sign up here

What is the goal of Mile High Asian Food Week?

Participating vendors must be AANHPI-owned and also serve AANHPI foods and beverages. All other vendors can participate if they collaborate with an AANHPI-owned business (i.e. pop-up).

 

How do I apply to be a vendor for Mile High Asian Food Week?

Interested vendors can apply on our website (Milehighafw.com). There is a $25 fee to participate once an initial application is accepted. Participating vendors will need to provide a special offering during the week. These offers can include secret menu items, pre-fixed menus, and discounts, or team up with other collaborators for events and pop-ups.
